I doubt anyone really cares but I am taking a break from social websites for a little while to hopefully become more productive and to feel happier in myself. I imagine it won’t last very long.
I saw My Bloody Valentine and they played a long noise interlude in You Made Me Realise and it was incredible and then it started to hurt.
I always go in to a tour feeling like I’m going to get a lot of work done, but I never do. I have been working on the next solo thing—pretty steady for about a year, I’d say. I think I’ll play the first show for it in a couple month’s time—and, gosh, I don’t want to give a definitive date on it, but I hope to have something out by the end of this year.

The Purple Bottle has a kind of sadness to it now post-Down There. The Stevie Wonder bit is different now (“I just called to say I love you, I just called to wonder if you care, I just called to say I miss you”) and I guess it can be interpreted to be a very sad version (but probably not). I’ll stop because it feels weird to speculate on this area of their lives.
